While on IshimaruK12's deviant page, I saw a link to Eevee445's Naruto fan manga called, Naruto NGNR. I decided to check it out and it’s really interesting! I believe that in due time, Naruto NGNR can become a one of a kind Naruto fan manga!! It takes place a century after the events of Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles, so there's an entirely new cast!! A new ninja boy of the Rain Village named Nabu Yurei is introduced as the main character and he's one guy no one needs to mess with; especially if you're and ANBU!! So far, members of the Akimichi and Hyuga Clan have made an appearance. And from what I've seen in some of Eevee's sketches, members of the Uzumaki Clan (and maybe some one from Rock Lee's family?) will also show up in this fan manga!!

The picture itself is basically a picture summary of the first two chapters of Naruto NGNR. The second page of the first chapter shows a flash back of Nabu in the rain vowing to make all ANBU black ops "pay"(for what has yet to be mentioned in the manga) Originally, there was going to be a bolt of lightning in the background, but I wasn't able to make it look right. So I just made it rain. Looking back on it, I accidentally made it look like Nadu stabbed himself with the kunai (that isn't what happend *waves hands around*!!!)One reason I really enjoyed drawing this picture was because I got to use ain effects. The rain aura was created with a special air brush. The bloody water and dripping rain effect was created using the plastic art filter of Photoshop!! I'm really beginning to learn how to harness the abilities of that program *smiles* Anyway, back to the picture...

While in the Hidden leaf village, Nabu “rescues” Ayami from an angry member of the Akimichi clan and soon the two pair up; not romantically. Nabu learns that Ayami has no place to sleep and offers her a place to stay since he has a soft spot for sad girls. Not to much happens in chapters 1 & 2; basically introduces Nadu Yurei and Ayami Hyuga. Nabu is wearing the hooded cloak (which looks like a rain coat in this picture) seen in chapters one and two (also the same one he use to offer to Ayami for warmth, Aww...) I just noticed that I messed up the angle of Ayami's bangs!!! It's weird how you notices mistakes after finishing something (really should start "proof reading: *sweat drops*) Ayami was originally going to be crying but it seemed "off" once I added tears. So in the end, I got rid of them; keeping her redden cheeks. I realize now it appears that she's blushing out of shyness but hey, what ever works right?

So that's all I have to say about this picture. Oh and Eevee445, two things: if your out there, COMMENT ON THIS PICTURE!!! Thank you!! *smiles sweetly* Number two: WHAT DOES NARUTO NGNR stand for exactly?!!! I can't find it anywhere!!!
